ALL SPORTS TOURNEY
On Sunday 17th April, 2016, SKHY Football Club participated in All Sports Promotion's Annual Football Festival held at the Nelson Mandela Park. SKHY fielded two teams in the Under 10 age group, SKHY Blue and SKHY Yellow; we also had an U-12 team competing. The tournament commenced at approximately 10:30am and the children were energetic and very eager to start playing. Allof the teams competed in three games each. The performances from all of the teams were very spirited. SKHY Blue played Pinto FC, Trendsetter Hawks and St. Ann's Rangers. Christian Roserie deserves mention. SKHY Yellow also had a commendable showing, they competed against T&T Maestros, Crown Trace FC and St. Ann Rangers. Elijah Wong had a stellar performance and deserves mention.
In the U-12 group were Trendsetter Hawks, who we played first; the second match was against Marabella Family Crisis Centre and finally our last group match of the day we took on St. Madeline.Special mention has to be made of Kyle Waldron.
At the end of the round robin section of the tournament a wonderful day’s activities for the boys came to an end. The children enjoyed themselves as having fun and trying to put into action what theydid in training were the main themes of the day. Congratulations to all of the boys who participated. Your energy and willingness to work hard and to do your best at all times is all anyone can ask for. This augurs well for your future, not only in football, but in your life. Again, Well Done!
Special mention and praise must be given to all Team Managers and also to the Parents who were present, as your support is key to your child’s continued success... Thank you! Hats off to All Sports Promotions, as although the starting time was delayed, when it did eventually begin proceedings flowed smoothly thereafter.
