Our U-13’s played their semifinal game in the Silver Bracket against Addison United Azulcremas at 2.00pm. Their energy level was high and at the start of the game had Addison under some pressure, which resulted in a couple of opportunities, but none were converted. Addison however took with both hands the two opportunities that were presented to them, one from a corner kick that was deflected into the goal and a second about five minutes later. A powerful strike from on top of the 18yd box that gave our keeper no chance. After 25 minutes the score was 2-0. Bad weather soon after disrupted the game, as all fields were cleared, for 2 hrs. On resumption SKHY regrouped and for the final 10 minutes of the half kept the opponents in check. 

During the second half, Addison United Azulcremas had the higher percentage of the ball, but because of some tenacious defending hardly any chances were created. SKHY themselves were generally kept at bay by Azulcremas. Nearing the end of the game SKHY had a lapse in defense from a corner from which Azulcremas capitalized, 3-0. This is how the score remained to the end. Overall the effort was good, but this proved to be a learning experience for the team. Following the match all players were rewarded with medals and the team a trophy for reaching the last four.

Our Theme Park for today was supposed to be Hollywood Studios, but because of the inclement weather the U-13’s game finished later than expected, after 5.00pm. Therefore, we visited Magic Kingdom which closes at midnight and will visit Hollywood Studios tomorrow instead.
