Everyone gathered at Piarco for 5.45am as our flight was at 8.40am. The flight with Caribbean Airlines to Kennedy Airport, New York was smooth and uneventful. Thank God! We landed at Kennedy at 1.30pm, got out of the airport about two hours later. Everyone was sent through the new system where each person has to register his arrival individually at a terminal (machine) in immigration. I, myself, was also doing this for the first time.

 

We travelled to the Hotel De Point, Flushing, Queen’s, where the team is staying and we checked in. The hotel seems comfortable and the workers at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful. Tomorrow we will be training after breakfast and then go to downtown, Queen’s.
