RASHAD HYACENTH  - Belmont University

Belmont v Georgia State

Belmont got off to the quick start it was in need of as the sophomore Hyacenth tallied his fourth goal of the season in the 12th minute. Hyacenth was the beneficiary of an excellent feed from teammate Joonas Bask (Espoo, Finland) who provided the assist. Bask received a connecting pass that led him towards the box, the 6'5 forward then dished it far post to Hyacenth who would capitalize to open the scoring. Hyacenth now has notched five goals on the season to lead the Bruins, and has recorded a pair of two-goal performances on the season as his last came in Belmont's last victory which occurred Aug. 28 against Lipscomb. BU added some insurance in the 89th when Rashad Hyacenth (D'Abadie, Trinidad and Tobago) tallied his second score of the match. After a GSU foul on Belmont half of the pitch, AJ Arnold (Jackson, Miss.) cleverly played a quick restart and fed a streaking Hyacenth up the left side of the pitch. Hyacenth gained possession over a few GSU defenders and then pushed one past the keeper to give the Bruins the commanding advantage.

DOMINIC JANGOO – Northeastern State University

NSU v Ouachita Baptist

The No. 24-ranked Northeastern State men's soccer team scored a pair of second-half goals to defeat Ouachita Baptist 2-1 Thursday evening at DeLoache Field. The game-winning strike came from sophomore midfielder Dominic Joseph-Jangoo in the 69th minute of play. Redshirt freshman Morgan Dizney possessed the ball at the top of the 18 but could not break down the OBU back line. He cleared the ball to Joseph-Jangoo, who rifled a low shot toward the net from about 30 yards out.

NSU v Southern Nazarene

The RiverHawks (8-4) put five on the board in the first 30 minutes of action to run away from the Crimson Storm (2-9). They also secured their fourth-consecutive victory. The match winner belonged to sophomore forward Justin Todd, who opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Lee scored the next two goals and sophomore midfielder Dominic Joseph-Jangoo took away Lee's opportunity for the natural hat trick when he found the back of the net in the 28th minute.

Stephan Spicer – Trinity Baptist University

Trinity v Florida National

Tresor Mbuyu put the Eagles ahead 2-1 in the 53rd minute when he lofted a shot over Marin’s head as Marin came out of the goal to try to stop Mbuyu’s fast break. Unfortunately for the Eagles, though, Mbuyu drew a red card in minute #59 on a questionable call on what appeared as a routine challenge. Mbuyu left the game and the Eagles were left to play with 10 men the remainder of the game. The Conquistadors tied the game in the 71st minute on Aday Gonzalez‘s goal from the right side. A free kick, a cross pass, and Gonzalez’s shot tied the game at 2-2.The Eagles’ record drops to 9-2 on the season, but they still hold the #2 spot in the NCCAA Division 2 rankings as of September 29.

Trinity Baptist v Trinity College of Florida

The Eagles wasted no time opening the scoring, getting five goals within the first 15 minutes of action against an already short-handed Tigers team. The Eagles scored three more times between the 24th and 42nd minutes and took an 8-0 lead into halftime. The Eagles’ offense exploded again to start the second half with two more goals within the first two minutes, including a header from Josh O’Hara on a cross-pass assist from Tresor Mbuyu. The Eagles added six more scores to make the score 16-0 before Armstrong’s injury.
