Tough Day in Point

Yesterday (Sunday) our (Defense Force) U13, U15 and U17 teams travelled to Point Fortin, where they played Point Fortin Civic Centre in each of their respective age groups. Each  Sunday for the next 3 months these teams have matches at the respective times in the PFL Youth League, U13 at 10.00am, U15 at 2.00pm and U17 at 4.00pm. Ten teams are competing in the league, which is played on a home and away basis.

Every match was a hard fought battle from beginning to end with lots of action in all. The U13 team drew their encounter 1-1. The U15’s came from behind to win 2-1 and the U17’s lost 1-2. It was a very exciting day in Point, with some enthralling football played by the young men from both teams, good rivalry balanced with wonderful sportsmanship.
