Today was the final day of competition for both the U-11 and U-13 teams. Both sets of players played their hearts out, but in the end wilted from the pressure and high quality of the technical strength of the teams they each played. Both Chicago Elite FC Premier whom the U13 played and Costadeleste from Panama whom the U-11 played were technically superior. The losses were tough for both teams, but hopefully the players and coaches will learn from this tournament and grow from strength to strength.
Yesterday all the teams visited Epcot Centre and today Animal Kingdom was the Disney stop. Everyone had an enjoyable time, parents and children alike. Tomorrow morning at 9.45 the U-17’s have their last game, against Miami Stars Pachuca FC from Florida. We will continue playing with pride and true grit, as we have done for this whole tournament and hopefully end on a high note with our second victory.
The Disney stop tomorrow will be Blizzard Beach (water park).
