T&T Airguard ousts SKHY from FA Cup

Team togetherness - SKHT East FA Cup Champions

T&T Airguard hosted SKHY at the Henry Street Recreation Ground, Trincity on Wednesday night (October 28) in one of the Eastern Region’s FA semi-final match-ups. Both T&T Airgaurd and SKHY use this venue as their home ground. Last year, 2014, SKHY won the Eastern Conference FA Cup, but it was not to be in 2015. SKHY scored first, through sixteen year old Rickson Hill. A young player, from whom the club expects a lot of in the future. Airgaurd equalized just before half time and took this momentum with them into the second half.

The game was fast and furious with both teams giving no quarter. The speed of the game took its toll on players from both sides as many passes were wayward and the game became very disjointed. Hardly at any time were four or five passes strung together from any of the teams. Airgaurd pressed on, no matter the circumstances. They were the team that seemed to want this game more and they had their reward late the second half when their striker latched on to an errant pass from SKHY and stuck the ball in the back of the net, goal #2. This was how it ended T&T Airguard 2 SKHY 1. Airguard now moves on to the final against BM Spurs and SKHY has a third and fourth place play off against House of Dread
